What Dreams May Come

If you were the idealistic do-gooder as I, and were presented with a magic wand that could grant the wildest and deepest of dreams, it would be for this world to be a harmonious place – one filled with people who are more pleasant, more giving and kinder in their ways and dealings with fellow beings less endowed with worldly possessions this dying planet is struggling to give.

Of course, to be able to wipe away poverty and suffering with the flick of a wand is but wishful thinking and something that only happens in bedtime stories and Disney movies adults would feed children with.

The real stories to be regaled by are the ones lived by people - experiences and journeys that have had love, commitment, frustration, blood, sweat and tears invested in a vision that people believe is worth realizing. Then it would no longer be a fairy tale. It would be REAL. It would be a moment in time where these people looked and saw that by what they gave and by who they are, they have made a difference, not just in the lives of others, but also in themselves.

And that, would be a reward more deserving than chancing upon a wand that allows one to ask for convenience over life’s precious lessons. We’ve jumped hoops in level one, there will be more that will come higher and faster. By then, this cosy team would be stronger to take on whatever comes, together.

At the session's closing: moving forward.

So here it is, for our kind supporters – Session 2 – a fruitful session of energetic jamming with hyperactive youths pumped on sugar. The pictures aren't much, and some faces blurred; but all with purpose to protect and preserve.
